Date: April 6th, 2022 Livestock futures all triple digits lower as gains were again sharply higher on Tuesday. Beef prices though were higher yesterday and daily slaughter rates continue to hold up near the recent top end of capacity. Cash fed cattle already trading as early as Monday at mostly $138 up to $142 live in the North and $222 to $225 on a dressed basis, all in essence remaining steady now for over a month. Some light volume reported yesterday as low as $136 live and $219 dressed.
